Maintainability

 

Plant maintainability is assured mainly by the fact that:

 

• Plant layout allows easy access to all the equipment and the use of usual equipment for intervention such as cranes, elevators, etc.

 

• as a rule, equipment are simple and of top-quality to ensure safety of operation and to minimize the maintenance workload and avoid danger breakdowns;

 

• the design and the characteristics of the equipment are chosen to keep their functionality without any clogging or anomalous operating conditions. In this way site personnel can attend multiple-jobs like the handling of the products and raw materials, routine analysis, etc.;

 

• maintenance interventions are reduced and limited to the ordinary periodically activity done on the occasion of catalyst change;

 

• equipment, machinery and instruments are as much homogeneous as possible and are supplied by the same producer, internationally known and preferably present in the country.
