Plant Reliability

 

The reliability of the Plant is assured mainly by the fact that all components are designed according to the following main principles:

 

• all equipments  have been designed for “heavy duty” conditions and corrosion resistant;

 

• design conditions have a margin not less than 10% then the running one, in order to have a longer and trouble free running operations. With regards to the flexibility of the unit, the plant is able to operate efficiently between 50 and 100% of the specified rated capacity;

 

• extensive electronic instrumentation is used in order to have control on the product quality with the minimum personnel workload;

 

• interlocking is widely used to safeguard against operational errors;

 

• Active and passive safety criteria adopted allow also Plant running without attendance;

 

• maximum thermal conservation and economic heat recovery have been foreseen;

 

• maximization of running stability.
